Built in 1906 and renovated in 2016, Casa Chiara II was home to Italian Partisans (Partigiani) who fought as part of the resistance movement (Resistenza) against the occupying German Army and the Italian Facist Puppet Regime during the later years of WWII. This historic residence has also been home to several Mayors (Sindaci) of Introdacqua.
