Iron Bow is seeking network professionals to support a project which will provide Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet) and Non-classified Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNet) based information technology (IT) services across the USAFE-AFAFRICA Theater. This includes several complex implementations of Microsoft, VMware, virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI), Cisco, Brocade, Enterprise Management Collaboration (EMC), and Data Domain technologies that provide core cyberspace operations services to the USAFE-AFAFRICA units throughout the theater. These technologies must interoperate with, and/or transition to, Air Force (AF), Department of Defense (DoD), or commercial enterprise capabilities. USAFE-AFAFRICA requires local support to design, document, implement, maintain, and optimize its virtualization technologies, as well as training support.

Builds support documentation, Active Directory (AD) administration, provide set-up and continual maintenance of user accounts, security rights assignments, directory structures, etc. according to established IT policy and guidelines.
Oversee daily monitoring of all assigned systems and services to ensure operations are normal.Respond to system outages and assist in team problem triage and remediation of exercise and system outages.Perform activities associated with protection and back of data to ensure backup processes successfully complete on regular basis.Provide daily administration, maintenance, installations and upgrades of Servers.
Capable of overseeing the management of operation on an Enterprise VDI deployment that could will be expanding on the either the existing infrastructure or.USAFE-AFAFRICA VDI system includes six (6) clusters supporting users in 10+ European Countries and soon to be support users in Africa.
HS Diploma, Bachelors of Science desired
Secret Clearance is required
VM Ware Certified Profession 5 (or Later) Desktop Mobility
Windows Server Administration 2008 R2, 2012, 2012RS; perform advanced hardware server setup, advanced installations and configurations of the operating system, maintains existing network infrastructures, assures all installations are IAW manufacturer's specifications, best practices and existing policies.
Qualified to use or work with: advanced troubleshooting and installation of Windows Servers Hyper V or other virtualization technologies, Windows Server Operating Systems (2003 - 2012 RS), Active Directory, DNS, DHCO, Group Policy, IIS, File & Printer Sharing, scripting languages (Visual Basic, Perl, PHP, Python, PowerShell, Bash), network infrastructure services (DNS, DHCP, etc.), and Firewall concepts and configuration.
Cisco networking knowledge is desirable.
Strong technical aptitude and ability to research and solve complex issues independently, effectively communicate user errors and explain steps to avoid similar problems in the future, ability to apply troubleshooting techniques to quickly resolve server hardware and software errors/problems, Desktop communication and remote connectivity skills including technologies like or similar to VPN and SSL.
A high level of experience in network technology, communications systems, data processing systems, information systems security, and project management. In addition, contract personnel shall have demonstrated experience with architecture design, engineering, implementation, integration, and sustainment of enterprise systems.
Excellent communication skills, both with team members and customers across multiple organizational levels.
In addition, the contractor shall be able to work with minimal supervision on multiple concurrent complex projects and coordinate the work of others.
