May 17, 2017 – On Tuesday May 23, TKS will implement an overnight network upgrade at the USAG Wiesbaden which will result in an interruption of all TKS network services between 03:00 and 08:00. Afterwards, residents may also experience some additional short-term interruptions in select areas only. The upgrades should be completed in all locations no later than 14:00.
TKS network services impacted by the upgrade include: easyConnect, easyTV, AFN television, and Exchange Connect Wi-Fi service.
This upgrade will modernize a number of key network components that will increase infrastructure stability and security, and will also provide additional bandwidth to the Wiesbaden military community.
When the TKS network upgrade is completed all services will automatically resume, no special action is required. Should on-post residents experience any type of connectivity issues after 14:00, the situation should be reported to TKS customer service at 0631 3522 499.
